Texas Pride informed previously they would collect debris, but that has now changed. Harris County Precinct 3 will collect the storm debris, details below:
Texas Pride will collect a maximum of 2 garbage cans of household trash and a maximum of 3 trash bags of grass clippings on Wednesday and Saturday each for the week of July 15, 2024. Collection of recycle material will resume on Saturday.
Harris County Precinct 3 will begin collecting storm debris by making up to 3 passes on different dates through our district. Although the collection dates for our district are not known at this time, it is expected that they will commence soon. Please note that if bags are used for debris, the bags must be transparent. Debris in black trash bags will not be picked up by HC Precinct 3.
To ensure a satisfactory collection of trash, please do not comingle trash with storm debris. Keep trash and storm debris separate.
