This notice is to inform CCUD customers of an increase in the tax rate for 2023.
At the public CCUD Board meeting on October 12, 2023, the Board adopted a total 2023 tax rate of $0.335 per $100 assessed valuation. This is an increase from $0.295 per $100 assessed valuation in 2022.
The purpose for the tax increase is due to the issuance of $6,740,000 bonds in 2024 for ongoing district work to maintain our sewer and water infrastructure.
